Nicole is based in Atlantic Canada where she currently works as a development researcher on several documentary series spanning topics from true crime to sustainable living. In 2025, she joined a small, agile crew to film a short documentary for National Geographic across Newfoundland and Prince Edward Island.
Nicole spent much of her career both living and working abroad. She began as a communications manager for an adventure company based in Torres del Paine National Park, Chilean Patagonia. She later worked in London, United Kingdom as a content producer for international humanitarian organizations including the Red Cross and Save the Children. Her years overseas shape the projects she pursues - particularly stories that explore human resilience and environmental challenges.
In her spare time, Nicole is in the development stage of a documentary of her own.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies and Economics from McGill University and a Master’s degree in International Journalism from City, University of London.
